Armindo Araújo distinguished with a “White card”

The FPAK Board decided to distinguish with the 'White Card', three national drivers for their sports conduct and 'fair-play in recent events: Armindo Araújo, Francisco Barreto and Carlos Silva. The White Card is a pedagogical resource aimed at praising ethically correct conduct, practiced by those involved in sports activities. The White Card is the result of a partnership between PNED - National Plan for Ethics in Sport (Portuguese Institute for Sport and Youth, IPDJ) and the FPAK. Armindo Araújo's distinction is related to his conduct in victories and 'defeats', which should be praised, especially for what we recently witnessed, either in the Terras D'Aboboreira Rally or in the Vodafone Rally of Portugal, where the first thing he did was to congratulate, respectively, Miguel Correia and Ricardo Teodósio, direct competitors in the CPR, for their victories: "This is my way of being in motor sport and I hope to be an example, especially for the younger sportsmen. I feel very honoured with this distinction", wrote Armindo Araújo on his social networks.

Second, three tenths of second from the leader, Italian Simone Campedelli made an excellent debut in Funchal with the Skoda Fabia Raly2 Evo.
